In an effort to provide our customers with the best quality service and value, we have developed the Jon Wayne Academy For Technical Excellence. The primary purpose of our training program is to provide the most technologically advanced training that targets "real world" requirements of an entry-level HVAC service technician. This will allow Jon Wayne to continue to provide our customers with the best trained service technicians possible.
The Academy is available to anyone who wants to start a career in the HVAC industry and will teach an individual the skills needed to start as an entry-level HVAC technician. Students without any previous technical experience will begin by learning the basics and then rapidly progress to having the skills required of an entry-level technician. Graduates may be hired by Jon Wayne Heating and Air or go on to work for other contractors in the area. In fact, those students who are hired by Jon Wayne Heating and Air Conditioning after graduation will have their tuition fees refunded to them!
Jon Wayne Academy's instructor, Wes Breazeale, has over 26+ years of experience of teaching, servicing, installing and troubleshooting in the HVAC industry and are recognized by many large HVAC manufacturers for their excellent training skills and dedication to the HVAC industry.
Jon Wayne is the only air conditioning contractor in the region to establish an Academy that is geared to teach it’s own technicians and those who wish to learn a fascinating career in HVAC. Our classrooms are specifically designed for HVAC academic education and include a high-tech lab with fully functional HVAC systems ranging from basic air conditioning to Heat Pump to Hybrid systems, Air flow test stations, soldering, electrical, carpentry, Duct & Plenum fabrication, thermostat programming and refrigerant level calibration.
Graduates will receive EPA certification, a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation from the Academy. This is a serious education that you can build a solid career from.
